The opportunity
We are looking for a versatile Cloud Automation Engineer for our platform team, to work in a constantly evolving, dynamic, and agile environment, believing that the route to speed and stability is through automation. Teamwork, communication, and speaking your mind with respect to those around you are of high importance for us. A curious mind and willingness to grow and exchange your ideas and knowledge are highly welcome.
In this role, you'll set up AWS (Amazon Web Services) infrastructure which is handling millions of transactions worth billions of Euros.

The team
Our team consists of 6 members, who would love to work with you. The team has a DevSecOps standpoint, owns, develops, and manages all Infrastructure as Code in AWS accounts, running 100s of VMs and containers; If you build it, you run it!

Your day-to-day responsibilities include
Delivering the committed objectives that include adapting to any new needs to reach the goal.
On-call duty according to a rotating schedule.
Participate in your team's day-to-day activities including tools development, operations, maintenance, and support.
Being an active member in our agile events like daily stand-ups, planning, retros, demos. etc.
Foster team spirit, quality and technical agility.

You are comfortable in a fast-paced environment, handling many different partners, and a fast decision is not an issue for you.


Skills we can't do without
Demonstrated experience in systems engineering, automating infrastructure creation & maintenance tasks using Docker, Jenkins, Terraform\ CloudFormation, etc.
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or another meaningful field.
Experience in supporting/operating transaction driven and highly available platforms running microservices with 99.99% uptime.
Knowledge of Identity and Access Management in AWS.
Knowledge of DevSecOps ways of working.
Implementation experience with security solutions such as WAF, IDS/IPS, Anti-DDOS, and SIEM.
Full working proficiency in English.


Skills we'd like
Ability to act as an internal AWS solution architect.
AWS Certifications.
Developing secure and/or PCI-DSS certified solutions.
Understanding of software development principles.
Log management.
Experience in Key management and SSL certificates.
