When you join Covidien as a Clinical Education Manager the overall responsibility is to execute the regional PACE Service Level Agreement (SLA) to meet regional educational objectives inclusive of participant and faculty selection. The Clinical Education Manager ensures the education of key stakeholders regarding PACE mission and vision, educational landscape and optimum educational pathways, collaborates with Key Thought Leaders in the execution of educational events and assesses account based education requirements for value added programs.

Principle accountabilities
• As a Clinical Education Manager you will develop in collaboration with the Director Physician Education, implements surgical education strategies to meet regional educational objectives per the Service Level Agreement (SLA)
• Manage the Regional Education Portfolio, inclusive of participant and faculty selection criteria, and supervision of budget allocation for such events
• Ensure delegate selection by educating key stakeholders in targeted delegate selection criteria and course educational objectives
• Acts as a liaison with key internal stake holders to identify suitable Key Thought Leaders and Professional Societies for activities unrelated to PACE (e.g. Clinical Trials or Product Evaluations)
• Delivers key Covidien modules within educational service offerings including live programs for nurses
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
• As a Clinical Education Manager you need to have extensive experience in the medical devices industry, which includes a strong background in medical or surgical education
• Language skills to business standard in English
• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Biology
Preferred requirements:
• As a Clinical Education Manager it is preferred that you have language skills to business standards in German
• A background as a nurse or within marketing or related medical/ surgical education field is preferred
