Responsibilities:
• Drive customer service excellence
• Support in all daily administration of Office
• Receive and respond to incoming calls from customers and clients wishing to claim on
their policy
• Review information provided decide admissibility of claim and process the claim
immediately in the most appropriate manner
• Liaise with the clients, colleagues, Senior Associates, Manager to clarify the admissibility
of claims where policy wording is unclear
• Identify issues requiring action by the Business Centre Manager
• Make maximum use of the telephone as a method of communication with the end customer
• Provide support for other Operational areas as required
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
• Participate in and support process improvement and Quality initiatives
• Receive and respond to incoming calls from customers and clients and resolve all queries
satisfactorily
• Follow up on all issues that cannot be resolved immediately
• Evaluate information provided by customers/clients and seek extra information from both if
necessary
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum bachelor or equivalent experience
• Keyboard familiarity
• Previous claims or customer service experience needed
• Knowledge of terms & conditions for relevant
• Knowledge of associated procedures & systems
• Familiarity with product sales channels & processes
• Strong knowledge of the insurance business
• Knowledge and experience with complaints handling.
