hela Sverige We are now looking for a Civil Design Tender Lead for our work in tenders within HVDC. This is a role with many interfaces and interesting work tasks, and you will get great opportunities for learning and development working on tenders across the globe.
The ideal candidate will be tasked to lead, manage and co-ordinate all aspects of large-scale Civil Design bids. There will be a team supporting the Civil Design Lead with modelling, BoQ etc.
Your Responsibilities
Responsible for the engineering budget for the Civil Design and Auxiliary Systems during tender phase
Review tender technical specification and highlight any risks, opportunities, deviations, or clarifications related to Civil Design
Preparing the quotation materials to Civil Design companies
Make sure that the Civil Design is done with consideration to applicable local standards, laws, and regulations.
Responsible for the bill of quantities (BoQ) from the Civil Design 3D model
Review time schedule related to Civil Design activities for the project execution phase
Actively participate in design review meetings and bid review meetings for EPC and EP deliveries, in which there is a Civil Design interface
Your background
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
At least 4-6 years of project tendering experience in large-scale Civil / infrastructure projects
A good working knowledge of BIM/Digital Delivery processes
Ability to communicate and work effectively with various project teams and internal/external partners
The ability to take initiative and to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required. Swedish and other languages will be advantage
