Hooked is an impact startup developing plant-based seafood to lead the transition to a healthier seafood ecosystem. We are now looking for a CPO who will lead the development of the next generation of our products.
The Role
As Hooked's Chief Product Officer you will have a strategically important role and work closely together with the R&D, PD and business teams. We expect you to have a holistic view of the product development and lead the up-scaling and commercialization of our products as well as setting up our new generation lab. Further, you will challenge the status quo and constantly improve our processes to be more efficient and increase the speed to market. An important part of the role is leading the PD team and spreading the Hooked-culture of ownership, transparency and collaboration in the company as we grow.
Who you are
To be a good fit for the position, you have a minimum of 8 years of food industry experience and 4 years of working with plant-based proteins. You have a holistic perspective of product development, including the day-to-day work in the lab and distribute resources to communicating with stakeholders as well as having both the consumer and financial perspective in mind.
It's beneficial if you have experience from leading teams and know how to prioritize between both major projects and daily tasks. Ideally, you have an entrepreneurial spirit and have been a part of a startup to scale-up journey before.
