In this fully connected world - connected vehicles as well as connected production systems in smart factories - our information assets are the foundation to business success and at the same time secure handling of those assets become increasingly complex.
To strengthen our ability to protect and fully utilize our information we are now looking for a senior manager to take the role as Chief Information Security Officer for the Scania group and lead our Information Security team.
The Information Security team currently consist of approx. 15 people organised in two groups; one group with focus on Information Risk and compliance handling topics such as risk management, awareness, business continuity, crisis management, audits & compliance reviews and one technical group with IT-security focus handling topics such as security architecture, Siem, malware protection, forensics etc.

As CISO you will:
Develop our ability to identify and respond to information security threats
Promote a risk aware behaviour throughout the Scania group
Ensure that we have an efficient security architecture that protects our information assets and enables our business development
Ensure that we have the right competences and technical capabilities to handle IT-security threats in a fully connected world
Ensure that we have relevant policies, governance model and processes in place
Support the business organisation with expertise regarding all aspects of information security
Represent Scania in the Information Security community within the Volkswagen Group to drive and develop common information security issues within the global Volkswagen Group
What profile do we believe you have?
For you to be successful in this role we believe that:
You are an experienced manager with proven leadership
You have a strong technical background and combines this with a deep understanding of the non-technical side of information security.
You have a broad experience of leading information security teams within large organisations
You are a skilled communicator who can communicate information security topics to business management as well as technical staff
You are a strong team builder who develops the information security team and integrates information security in daily business operations throughout the Scania group
You thrive in a complex environment where you are expected to drive change and ensure that Information security contributes to realisation of strategic business goals
You are fluent in English, and additional languages such as Swedish or German is a strong plus.
The role is located at Scania head office in Södertälje and reports to the Director of Shared IT Services & Governance.
