Job description
The Chief Accountant is the manager of the Accounting and Reporting group at SFA. The group consists of five employees, where each has full responsibility for accounting and reporting for one or more of the company's branches. The Chief Accountant coordinates and coaches the group in its task which include daily accounting and payments, monthly closings, group- and authority reporting and financial analysis. The Chief Accountant is also in charge of the contact with auditors and is responsible for the quarterly and annual audit package.
The Chief Accountant leads the Accounting and Reporting group in its work with continuous improvements and process development through improvement groups.
The Chief Accountant reports to SFA's Finance Manager. For the right candidate, the position is a great stepping stone for a management career within the Scania Group.
Job requirements
We are looking for a high potential candidate with ambitions to take on a leading role in Scania Finans AB's finance department's continued development towards becoming a fully-fledged business support function. The ideal candidate for this position will have:
Proven leadership abilities
A degree in business administration or similar
Good knowledge of accounting and reporting
Experience of improvement work
Good knowledge of lean mindset and methods
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
Fluency in written and spoken Swedish and English
Experience from QlikView and Agresso is a merit
You need to be analytical as well as creative when it comes to finding the appropriate methods and solutions to problems. You are used to working in an international organization, and enjoy working in a fast-paced and continuously changing environment. We believe you are communicative, structured and cooperative, with a good sense of priorities and experience in working against deadlines.
