hela Sverige In this role, you work in our chemical laboratory performing electrochemical testing in a clean room environment. You optimize, develop and execute experiments planned by senior personnel. Another area of responsibility is the general upkeep of the laboratory, including maintaining equipment, labware and inventory. Additionally, you help with ordering and receiving chemicals as well as supplies. Since safety always comes first you follow existing safety procedures and assist in maintaining a safe environment.
Unless you are already an expert in the complex mechanisms of fuel cell degradation and electrochemical testing, we are curious if you are eager to learn and become a specialist within this field.
We are looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree in either chemistry, chemical engineering, or similar knowledge gained through experience. You know how to work in a chemical laboratory, either from your education or from previous work. Knowledge in electrochemistry is advantageous.
We are sincerely interested in your character traits. For this role, it is important to be reliable and consistent, as one must follow instructions and clarify complex information to reach a proper understanding of what one is looking at. A natural and vital part of this is being thorough and analytical. Furthermore, you have a sense of order and plan your work in a structured way. Also, as we work in a team environment it is important that you can communicate and explain test results and methods to your colleagues.
English is a requirement for this position, while Swedish is advantageous.

To strengthen our competence within R&D, and in fuel cells particularly, we are now looking for an analytical and thorough chemist for our R&D organization in Sandviken.
