We are now looking for a Centre Manager to I-huset, IKEA Centres Linköping
About the Assignment
The Centre Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management and handles directly the shopping centre with the support from the site staff. You will be the main responsible for managing the shopping centre, overseeing the day-to-day operations of site personnel and the outsourced work. You will also handle the financial management of the shopping center. As Center Manager, your mission is to create and develop value for the shopping centre.
Other areas of responsibility include:
• Manage and develop the retail destination based on our company culture and long term business strategies.
• Manage and constantly improve the performance of the shopping centre and ensuring long term profitability.
• Through innovative thinking and passion, ensure that the centre attract new customers.
• Ensure that the centre is commercially attractive for tenants through a high footfall aiming at optimizing tenant sales and optimal level of services at a competitive service cost level.
• Establish and analyze your local market in order to make the centre even more attractive to costumers.
• Secure the asset value of the centre, by optimal facility management that supports our sustainability ambitions.
• Optimize rental income and additional income and ensure an attractive and commercial merchandise mix, minimizing vacancies.
• Create and develop business relationships with tenants, authorities, local community and other stakeholders.
• Work in partnership with all business functions and maximize synergies with the IKEA Store.
• Lead and follow up annual centre business plan, yield forecast, and cost follow up.
About You
We see that you have a solid experience from commercial development or from working in a similar role, preferably in a shopping center. You have strong leadership and communication skills and you create and maintain trustful relationships. You have passion for business development, leadership and to build relationships to customers and stakeholders. You see opportunities and work proactively with your local market in order to make the shopping center attractive to new customers.
You also have:
• Ability to translate business needs into actions and solutions
• Strong experience and knowledge about attracting customers to your business
• Ability to create trustful relationships and to lead in change
• Excellent English and Swedish language in spoken and written
• Value ambassador and strong believe in people
• Minimum 3 years ' experience from a previous Centre Manager position or long experience from shopping center business
• It is a plus if you have experience from working in our IKEA store
