Job description /Metsä Tissue is seeking for a Category Purchaser. As Category Purchaser you are responsible for the sourcing and purchasing processes of selected categories for Metsä Tissue and region Scandinavia. The position is located in Mariestad. Some travelling is required. The organisational superior is the Regional Purchasing Manager, SCD.
The Category Purchaser will participate both in Metsä Tissue local and global purchasing actions as well as in tendering processes on Metsäliitto group level.
Together with other category purchasers within Metsä Tissue you are defining strategy and sourcing plans for your categories. You should keep a close and good cooperation with our production, maintenance and call off responsible persons. It is of high importance that you keep regular contact and work in cooperation with our vendors.
/Prerequisites /Preferably you have a Bachelor degree in technology in combination with some years of experience from process industry. Working experience from purchasing and or logistics are beneficial.
You have good experience and knowledge of MS office and knowledge and competence in SAP or other similar business system.
Your Swedish language skills are fluent. English language skills, both writing and verbal, should be on a high level.
