The organisation Engineering Capability Office leads the development of engineering capabilities in Tetra Pak to ensure world class products and services. We set the strategy, develop and drive the change to improve our way of working when developing our products and services. Our scope includes the process ownership of Product Creation as well as the development of methodologies and tools. In the team, we have other Capability Managers in other engineering disciplines.
As Capability Manager in Design for Cost, your responsibility will be to develop, maintain and implement the capability globally within Tetra Pak (product development organisations, supply chain and technical service) to enable the community to reach future equipment cost targets. The main role in this position is to align our engineering community with a common approach including same methodologies, process and tools. It is key to implement new ways of working without adding complexity.
As a Capability Manager, you perform daily tasks as coaching, networking, trainings and tool ownership and support. You also perform maturity assessment and set targets for future development.
Location optional, either Lund or Modena.
Main responsibilities
• Develop and implement a BoM Cost roll-up solution, to estimate a total cost of a machine.
• Continue with development and training of Design Costing with the aPriori cost calculation tool
• Drive change management activities within our engineering community
• Build and manage a global network
• Develop, manage and execute the capability road map
• Scout future methodologies and tools
Qualifications
We believe you are a goal-oriented person with a lot of personal drive and energy to motivate yourself and others. Furthermore, you have excellent communication and networking skills and you can manage several stakeholders in a diplomatic way across functions and cultures. You are structured and analytical and have the ability to mobilise and inspire people towards the adoption of new habits, through a credible and positive attitude.
Your educational background is a Master of Science in Engineering. You have deep operational experience within the area of development and manufacturing and a good business understanding. Knowledge and experience in manufacturing technology is considered as a plus. A very good command of English, both written and oral is required.
