We are now looking for an experienced Calibration Engineer to join our dynamic team specializing in Marine Engine Testing and Calibration. We can offer you the chance to be part of a global leader in power solutions, pioneering innovative and sustainable technologies across various industries, from marine and automotive to industrial applications!

Marine Engine Testing and Calibration within Product Development is responsible for testing and optimization of both Hardware and Software regarding performance, emission and durability of all our Marine Diesel Engines from 2 to 16 litres. The department is today about 18 Engineers working in different projects. As a Calibration Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering test and optimization tasks. You will be a part of a project team within the Marine Development and Calibration team.

Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with a dedicated project team within the Marine Development and Calibration department to execute test and optimization tasks.
• Assume responsibility for optimization assignments, ranging from sensor linearization to finalizing engine software configurations for production.
• Utilize advanced tools like ENE and DoE for screening and calibration.
• Employ cutting-edge tools such as ATI Vision, DTECS (a specialized Development Tool for Embedded Control Systems), and Concerto (a versatile data post-processing and evaluation tool) to facilitate data acquisition and calibration.
• Conduct tests and optimization tasks in diverse settings, including controlled test cells and real-world field applications.
• Build and maintain a robust network of internal and external contacts, leveraging your networking skills to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications
• Genuine passion for testing and optimizing diesel engines.
• Strong grasp of fundamental combustion theory.
• Proven experience in Diesel Engine development.
• Familiarity with advanced tools such as ENE, DoE, ATI Vision, DTECS, and Concerto is advantageous.
• Exceptional communication and networking abilities.
• Team-oriented mindset with a genuine enthusiasm for Product Development.
