We are now looking for CAE Engineers!
Description
The CAE organization is a part of Engineering & Product Development. Since you will be part of a company with a start-up mentality, you will play a big role in your group and at your department.
You will work closely with other engineering areas within the company. You will be part of teams containing colleagues from creative design, attributes, quality, testing and manufacturing.
Our CAE groups contains a mix of senior and junior engineers.

The role as CAE Engineer involves:
- being responsible for the CAE driven part of various load cases and future load case scenarios
- taking an active part in target setting of attributes and validation of models
- being part of early concept studies
- being part of the continuous product and performance development of NEVS products
- developing and documenting new methods with purpose to increase and improve the output from you team
- reporting status to project gates
- working and communicate cross-functional within the company
The fields of CAE Engineers we currently are expanding within are Chassis, Body, Vehicle Safety, Interior and Vehicle Dynamics.
We are looking for candidates who have:
- university engineering education or equivalent experience
- CAE experience of the field of automotive is qualifying.
- ability to communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written.
To be successful in this role, you need to:
- be self-driven, pragmatic, have a positive attitude and good skills in communicating and collaborating
- take initiative and to identify and accomplish challenging objectives
- have strong analytic skills and interest in simulation techniques
- be open to learn from others and willingly share your own knowledge
- be flexible in your mindset and your way of working
- be open to be a part of a cultural diversity environment

NEVS is a member of the Engineering Industries and covered by current collective bargaining agreement signed by Unionen / Sveriges Ingenjörer / Ledarna.
