Propulsion Transmission Systems is responsible for delivering verified gearbox and transmission components to the Powertrain projects. The main components are automatic and manual gearboxes, shifter systems, clutch systems, drive shafts, AWD systems and Electric Rear Axle Drive (ERAD). Transmission CAE is one of the department's six sections and we perform analysis on complete transmissions as well as components, e.g. gears, bearings and castings. We search for a motivated CAD/CAE engineer with Catia-experience, for an available six months temporary position, working on gear design.
As CAD/CAE Engineer, you will further develop an existing in-house Catia cylindrical gear geometry generating tool. You will work closely with the CAE and design engineers to finalize the parametrized Catia gear model and deploy it in project work.
Main responsibilities
* Finalize parametrization of Catia gear geometry generating tool
* Introduce design engineers to the usage of the tool
* Create documentation for the introduction of Catia gear geometry generating tool to design engineers
Required qualifications
* B.Sc or M.Sc within mechanical engineering
* Experience of Catia V5
* Work experience within product development such as component design or CAE
* Fluent in English, written and spoken

* Interest and knowledge in cars and transmission technology
* Structured and logical way of solving problems
* Good cooperation and communication skills
* Interest in learning and share knowledge to others
* Customer focused
* Inspire change and lead implementation
