We are looking for a dedicated CAD Administrator whose main objectives are to support and provide the global organization with a CAD environment, CAD software and CAD data management, with high availability and security. CAD Systems includes software within the following categories CAD, eCAD, CAE, CAM, PDM, and PLM. You will get to work in a company where your efforts are visible and have an impact. The position is located at our facilities in Mullsjö in Sweden or Epila in Spain.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities are, but are not limited to, the following:
3D CAD software and integration to company PLM system SAP/PLM on an organization global basis
Projects, tasks, and support defined within IS&T EDS department and within R&D organization
Installation, configuration, and patching of CAD Systems software on user desktop manually or use of SCCM
License management for CAD software global and regional
Evaluate, test, and certify CAD station and laptop hardware configurations based on performance and cost and analyzing, troubleshooting CAD design stations and CAD data management systems
The position has a global responsibility that involves some travelling
Requirements
Bachelor or master's degree with math or science emphasis or associates degree from IT Technical University with additional work experience
5-years' experience in engineering, mechanical design, and or 3-5 years as CAD systems administrator, prefer SolidWorks, NX, and as plus Creo, Catia, AutoCAD and/or Inventor as user and/or administrator. Knowledge on eCAD Tools such Altium and software development tools is a plus.
Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team
Must be familiar with project management
Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English and proficient with MS Office products are required
We look for a willingness to travel occasionally
Residence and/or active working visa in the country where the application is presented.
