About the position
On behalf of our client, Perido is looking for a Buyer. Our client is a successful and fast-growing electric car company. You will be a key player in establishing the supply chain and partnerships needed to transform the automotive industry to an electrified and sustainable future. This position is placed in Gothenburg.
Your daily tasks
In this role, you will take an active role ensuring the company's development and belong to the global procurement team. This is what you can look forward to:
Drive the work to secure short and long-term sourcing strategies
Negotiate on different types of contract management,
Identify new suppliers/technologies
Develop and maintain commercial relations with suppliers and stakeholders
Secure that the supplier base meet cost, quality and delivery expectations
Manage the day-to-day activities and develop global sourcing strategies for dedicated commodities
You will lead/support cross-functional sourcing projects including activities such as planning, execution, analysis, negotiation, supplier selection, and contract signing
Your qualifications
We are looking for a communicative person who thrives in a role where you get to work across multiple contact areas and maintain contact with both existing and new suppliers. You are goal-oriented, structured, efficient and ensure that tasks are completed on time. You have the ability to drive, be responsible and accountable for your deliveries.

Requirements
A purchasing professional with excellent business acumen and previous 3 years+ experience within purchasing
Demonstrated experience developing sourcing strategies and driving cost effectiveness
Fluent in English both written and spoken
Meritorious
Knowledge and experience from the automotive industry
Contract type and hours
Full-time, consulting assignment until 2023-08-31. Start 2022-12-01.
