Jefferson Wells is looking for a dedicated Purchaser to join our team for an exciting consulting assignment at our client in Ludvika. Assignment: This is a consultan assignment where you will be employed by us at Jefferson Wells but work with the client. The assignment is ongoing for six months, with potential for extension or direct employment with the client.
Job description:
As a Purchaser you will play a crucial role in procuring materials based on technical specifications, pricing, and delivery schedules. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring compliance with corporate purchasing policies, identifying and qualifying new suppliers, and collaborating with category teams. This is an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and evolving organization, where your energy and self-confidence will be key in managing the highs and lows of procurement processes.
Main responsibilities:
* Purchase materials in line with technical specifications, pricing, and delivery schedules.
* Ensure adherence to corporate purchasing policies and procedures.
* Collaborate with Supplier Quality and Engineering specialists.
* Actively participate in the transformation and growth journey of the organization.
About you:
We are seeking an individual who thrives in a transforming environment and possesses a strong sense of ownership and maturity. The ideal candidate is a team player with excellent communication skills, accustomed to a multicultural and challenging global business setting.
Key requirements include:
* Academic degree in a relevant field: BE (Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical), Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience.
* Professional experience in supply chain functions, with a focus on procurement.
* Energetic, motivated, and self-confident with the ability to manage challenges.
* Ability to work collaboratively and initiate continuous improvement.
