Responsibilities:
The Buyer manages a portfolio of suppliers within the Commodity Sheet Metal Forming and Fabrication
Purchase of Production material
Perform sourcing and negotiations
Support in developing and implementing strategies and cost saving activities
Participate in product development projects
Manage day-today operations within quality, development projects, cost reductions, delivery and supplier relations
The job is structured in a Supplier team where you are the leader.
Working in a commodity, you will be part of a cross functional team with representatives from Trollhättan, Kongsberg Norway and Newington USA.
The working environment is international, with most of the current suppliers in USA.

We are looking for someone who has a ?business mindset? and is interested in a proactive way of working with a high technical content.
Formal qualifications:
3-5 years experience from purchasing
Minimum bachelor degree in engineering and/or economics
Very good English skills both oral and written
Demonstrated experience from products development projects
