Trelleborg Engineered Systems is currently looking for a Business Unit Controller within Business Unit Industrial Products. The role will be part of the management team within Business Unit Industrial Products, reporting to the Business Unit President, responsible for managing a global organization with clearly defined ownership over results, business development and processes. The role includes managing one direct report and indirectly 5 PA controllers. The business unit is a multi-site manufacturing environment. The business unit has approximately 2000 employees and a turnover of 300 MEUR.The position is located at the global headquarters in Trelleborg and will require travel.
Main responsibilities and tasks will include:
• Leading the control and development of the financial processes with the business unit
• Coaching and developing the finance teams
• Preparing and present monthly management reports for the business unit
• Driving the development of key metrics and steering models for the organization
• Taking active part in the commercial activities and provide insightful analysis
• Coordinating the budgeting and forecasting process as well as strategic planning
• Securing the internal control environment and ensure alignment with the group standards and principles
• Taking active part in the analysis around investments
Candidate profile
You have a successful track record of business control in a complex industrial environment within an international company. You have a university degree in business administration and economics. You are used to work independently in a decentralized organization. You are fluent in both oral and written English.
You are a structured individual with an analytical capacity, ambitious with a powerful self-drive and you have the ability to see the big picture. You are a communicative person with good ability to build relationships and you are used to delegate with a good sense for coaching. You possess the ability to arouse enthusiasm. You have a high sense of integrity and sound judgement.
