Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Are you our new Business Solution Owner?
Do you have broad experience working within product or process development? Maybe from an international company working with financial solutions and insurance? Then you might be our new Business Solution Owner Contract Management for Scania Financial Services (SFS)!

Digital transformation is going faster and faster and SFS needs to transform accordingly in pace, both internally as well as on the market when moving into the ecosystem of transportation and logistics. At the same time, we are changing from a decentralized way of working to a centralized way, what we call Unity. For this change to happen we have established a Digital Factory where we develop our services for our local markets within SFS. We act as a service provider and are currently at the beginning of our transformation. Therefore, we need you to help us in this evolution and shape the future of SFS together with us.

Your role

This is a relatively new role within Scania Financial Services, with part of the responsibility to form the role and ways of working together with other stakeholders.

As a Business Solution Owner you will:

• Be a change agent, supporting SFS management, Business Unit management, and boards

• Focus on business processes covering documentation, payout, in-life events to end of contract
• Work cross-functionally, collaborating to build the big picture solution

• Shape and lead the Global Contract Management Community together with the Heads of Departments at SFS and the local market stakeholders

• Apply strategic direction of the business to steer focus
• Utilize both inside-out and outside-in perspectives to enable both short- and long-term views
• Identify market needs (as clear requirements) as well as business opportunities, helping to prioritize these initiatives as part of the overall development roadmap

• Participate in the Unity Program and drive the Unity Contract Management design, secure the industrialization approach and support the implementation of our common setup

• Manage scope, working closely with other program resources to deliver initiatives on time and within budget
• Work with test teams to ensure the quality of deliverables
• Support rollout of initiatives to markets ready for use in the business
• Manage a backlog of future potential initiatives

The work is on a global level and our environment is in constant change; we build and shape as we run. You will therefore need to have the right mindset and a pragmatic way of working, but at the same time be able to evaluate, prioritize and act in order to build sustainable and robust solutions that can evolve over time. You will also need to be confident in working and leading virtual teams and resources within different parts of Scania and our Service Providers. This is to enable our co-creation setup and iterative way of working.

Competence and experience

• Advanced knowledge and experience within digital solutions for managing financial contracts in combination with an overall understanding of market needs and financial services
• Strong leadership skills to build confidence and act as thought a leader to build and drive change; engaging communities, forums, and the management within SFS
• Experience from transformations within larger enterprises including organizational changes, ideally working with customer and user journeys to develop a focused solution
• Keen interest in data-driven operations and how to create metrics and reporting
• Solid skills working with outsourced solutions supporting AML, KYC, and risk prevention
• Excellent communication skills to build momentum and trust toward the process and solutions being built over time

The position offers international contacts with Scania Financial Services companies around the world. This means that you are expected to travel from time to time. You will be reporting to the Director of Operations and Transformation, and you will be located in Södertälje, Sweden.

We look forward to get your application, latest the 28th of August.

Best regards,

Robin Letzén, Head of Operations
