We currently have the following job opening;
Business Process Developer
Powertrain Planning & Operational development is responsible for assuring that the engineering teams have processes, tools, operational know how and funding to execute the project portfolio. The responsibility includes development of operational efficiency at Powertrain Engineering Europe, but also alignment and development of common ways of working within CEVT and stakeholders in the Geely group. The operational context is highly complex and evolves rapidly, which puts high demand on support to the engineering teams.
We are now looking for a Business Process Developer to reinforce the support to the engineering community and Powertrain engineering organization. The main task of the Business Process Developer is to act as project manager for business transformation projects. This role has the task to identify and implement necessary changes in process and tools mainly at CEVT, but also to influence and align with other units in the Geely group. The size, complexity and content of business transformation projects will vary, and is based on operational needs.
We are looking for an open minded and solution driven person with the ability to lead and encourage people. You have an analytic capability and capability to maintain holistic view, with a high capability to understand business/operational requirements. Your communication skills are excellent and you are able to stay calm and act in a fast moving environment.
Responsibilites and tasks
You will work with defining strategy to implement needed changes of processes and tools, and lead business transformation projects through feasibility, design and implementation phases in close cooperation with management and the operational community.
Collaborate with key stakeholders within CEVT, Geely and Volvo Cars to maintain lean processes and systems.
Support and drive resolution of process related issues.
Profile and background
- University degree equivalent to Bachelor or M.Sc
- Minimum 3-5 years experience from product development work
- Experience in leading organizational development work
- Experience from hardware and / or software development
- Process development experience
- Negotiation skills
Furhtermore it's a plus if you have:
- Experience in Chinese business culture
- Experience from purchasing and/or manufacturing organizations
- Project management experience
- Experience of working with agile development methods
- Team Center or similar PDM systems knowledge
