We are recruiting for a temporary position as a Business Planning Manager during 1 September 2017 until 30 October 2018 (maternity leave). The position is located in our Manufacturing & Logistics department, reporting to Director Manufacturing & Logistics.

In this role you will help Cochlear to realize its mission by leading your own logistics group as well as cross functional groups by providing business support in the area of supply chain planning, product lifecycle (PLC) management analysis and execution.

You will manage the group accountable to realise demand into supply plans and initiate enhancements of the end-to-end planning process. The role also includes analyses of our product portfolio in collaboration with Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain amongst others. The latter with the objective to provide the business with comprehensive, easy-to-understand, analysis for making effective decisions around PLC management, including lifecycle costing, as part of our Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process that you will coordinate for Cochlear BAS. As for execution you will both lead and support phase in/phase out activities according to Cochlear's project models. The basis for the role is within, but not limited to, Supply Chain.

As we grow bone conducted solutions business, we are looking for people with highly specialised skills and capabilities who share our passion for delivering quality hearing solutions to our customers.

As a regulated company, Cochlear has a responsibility to hire people with the right skills and qualifications to do the work. To add value to Cochlear in this role you'll be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
Manage to lead and coach your group of 3 coworkers within department budget.
Demonstrated experience of managing cross functional teams.
Relevant qualifications in principles governing PLC Management or equivalent, including lifecycle costing.
Experience of Supply Chain management processes within a manufacturing environment, preferably planning.
Experience of Oracle Applications or equivalent ERP system.
Experience of mapping processes and execute improvement plans.
Experience to all key Microsoft Office applications (MS Excel, Word, Power Point).
Fluent in Swedish and English with good writing and presentation skills in both.
