E.ONs digital transformation has taken place over several years and on multiple levels, with participation from executives throughout the company. You will be working in a prioritized area with focus on creating value for our customers and business. You will be part of a team of driven and highly motivated digital professionals with responsibility to drive this development forward on a strategic as well as an operational level.
We're looking for a skilled and experienced Data Scientist to join our forming Data Science & Insights Team, part of our growing Digital Business team in Malmö.
For this position we're looking for a business oriented colleague, a team player with an analytical mindset and a keen problem solver. At your disposal, there are the massive amounts of data in our business data lake, real time data and a Data Scientist community, for knowledge sharing, innovation and joint projects.
In this role you will be focusing on the customer experience of E.ON. Through the smart use of data you will be working to optimize the customer experience through the entire customer life cycle. You will be working closely with a highly agile and cross functional team, to deliver continuous value on an operational level, working with proof of concepts and forward leaning future looking technologies.
Together with the team, your tasks will range from data governance and analysis to promote a data driven culture through data storytelling, applying your knowledge and inspiring and guiding our colleagues to new actionable insights.
You will get in at the beginning as we grow the data science team and see your work deployed fast and often into the real world and primarily work in a variety of cross-functional teams, and take the responsibility as a catalyst and expert. You 'll help us to further understand, model, predict, forecast, segment and retain our customers.
As a Data Scientist with us you will
Build dashboards and visualizations of complex data sets and calculations
Debug, and problem solve issues to ensure accurate and clear analysis and reports
Provide an analytics perspective to discussions and helping to drive the priorities within your team
Continuously monitor and evaluate emerging trends & technologies to drive innovation
Coaching colleagues with less data science experience
The role is located in Malmö.
The right candidate for this role has excellent communications skills and the ability to fluently speak and write in English and in a Scandinavian language. You have an understanding of data mining and machine learning concepts like building algorithms and models. To be successful in the role you need to have advanced programming skills for data processing and analysis in languages such as Python and R. You possess a mathematical and statistical expertise and have a deep understanding of different analysis and modelling techniques.
We believe you have
At least 2 years of work experience from Data Science, Business Intelligence, Analytics or related field
University degree or certified in relevant fields
Experienced in communicating data-driven insights in a visually effective manner utilizing data visualization tools like Power BI, Qlik Sense, Tableau
Hands-on experience from tools providing analytical data to track customer experience, ROI and marketing indicators, similar to Google Analytics
Agency/consulting experience is meriting
