Business Office and PMO Director of Connectivity & UX
Connected car is one of the main focus areas at CEVT with the purpose of delivering the next generation connected vehicles and services. Today, more and more cars become connected, meanwhile an increasing global trend of threat against "connected devices" arises.
Connectivity & HMI is a business unit which ensures smarter and more safety user experience of connected car products and services.
As an independent operational business unit, we aim to create a business office with needed functions to support a smoother organization running.
We also have new projects which share same platform solution and technology between China and Europe but in additional to that, will need some customized features for China and Europe specific market requirement. The target is to setup the in house development capability and successfully launch the new vehicle project in both markets based on the tightly cooperation between two international teams.
As Business Office and PMO Director, you will be responsible to manage a business office team building up a communication platform including visual identity related projects, but also taking care of the public and stakeholder relations, as well as facility management including general admin requests.
You will also manage the project management office to ensure cross project teams in China and in Sweden can smoothly work together to make the projects successfully launched on time with high quality.
Responsibilities and tasks
- To setup and lead a team who - Build up the business office team to setup overall communication platform and employer branding strategies
- Integrating resources at CEVT to secure the daily operation of the new unit, in aspects of IT, HR, Finance, Purchasing and Legal IP.
- Facility Management including setting up a running reception desk
- Enhancing public relations and stakeholder relations with media, association and authorities both locally and internationally to build up the employer image.
- Strengthening the team engagement with the right spirit and cross-culture activities.
- Leading an executive support team to bridge the gap between the team in Sweden with the ones in China from various perspectives, including language barriers.
- To setup and lead a project management office team, who - Manage all vehicle related projects deliveries
- Well balance the project time, quality and cost
- Contribute to the organization process and working methodology setup
- Guide and help the team leaders build up a good career path
- Bridge the China team and Sweden team, build up smooth information sharing channel
- Join monthly operation management meeting and join organizational level strategy plan and decision
Who are you?
- Bachelor of business administration or electric technology or information technology
- 10+ years working experience
- Experienced in connectivity related project management
- Experienced in manage variant operational function for a company or an independent business unit
- Good in communication and willing actively communicate with different teams/people
- Cultural awareness, especially Asian - European culture
- Native or bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English is a requirement for this position

Additional information
- Each individual in our team has a high level of responsibility and mandate, and is expected to be able to work independently.
- Travels to Asia will be needed (approx. 12 per year)
- You will be a part of CEVT's connectivity & UX Team and report to VP of this team
