About the position
The Global BI team is responsible for and handles the development and implementation of BI tools and reports for the eleven strategic business units in the DENTSPLY Sirona group. This team works cross-functionally, which means that you will interact with many functions, primarily Finance and Sales, but also Supply and Operations. Your key responsibilities will be to;
• Take part in different projects for developing new BI solutions
• Take part in the translation of business needs to technical specifications
• Help in evaluation and improvement for existing BI systems
• Develop, execute and conduct analyses
• Create visualizations and reports for global users, such as Executive Senior Management
• User Support and education, as well as develop and update user documentation
Who you are
In the role as BI Analyst it is important that you can work independently, but also find it stimulating to work in a team as well as in a multicultural and multinational environment. You should find comfort in working with ongoing system and process changes. To succeed it is essential that you have a good analytic ability, communication skills and that you are both driven and result-oriented.
We believe that you have
• An academic background, preferably in Finance or Data Management
• Good knowledge in Excel, which is a demand as analysis and reports are primarily performed in Excel. Today we utilize Smartview, which is an Excel add-in for retrieving data from Hyperion BI tools
• Knowledge of data design and analysis of BI systems and processes
• Knowledge of Oracle Hyperion and/or Power BI is preferable
• Great communication skills, both verbally and in writing, both in Swedish and English
