Business Development Manager

Strategic Product Planning is a global, highly strategic, and influential function within Group Trucks Technology (GTT), as we support the entire Volvo Group navigate the transformation and set the direction of a visionary and holistic product plan driving the Group's long terms ambitions. THE POSITION
Our vision to be the most desired and successful transport and infrastructure solution provider in the world. To be successful and ensure a competitive product offering we believe that Partnership is the new Leadership to leverage all collective intelligence in and out. Our global team works in close collaboration with cross-functional team to identify and assess new opportunities, design new business model and drive negotiation with potential partners to establish future cooperation and/or strategic alliance. We are also engaging in Merger & Acquisition, divestment initiatives to bring the product strategy perspective. We are now looking for Business Development Manager to join our Partnership Product Strategy team. As a member of our team, you will lead, drive, and facilitate operational and strategic tasks and you will be a key player to investigate new business opportunities with external entities and support to maintain and further develop our established partners' network.
WHO ARE YOU?
Your leadership skills, vision, and clarity, coupled with extensive business development experience, drive strategic investigations in diverse, multicultural settings. Your dedication to collaborative results, self-drive in managing multiple projects, and innovative thinking shapes our product strategy. Comfortable with uncertainty, you adapt and learn from diverse cultures. With a master's degree in business administration or related fields, your expertise spans business development, partnership management, case studies, and product strategy. Strong in negotiation and interpersonal relationships, you simplify complex information effectively in fluent English. A dynamic, collaborative worker, your extensive experience influences stakeholders at all levels, defining robust strategies. Beyond professional qualities, you bring a sense of fun to create an inclusive workplace.
This position will be based in Gothenburg, Sweden with business travelling expected on occasional basis.
