What's the purpose of this role?
We're looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to take responsibility for identifying and pursuing value additive partnership opportunities. This role will have a significant impact on the commercial growth of the company and will unlock new verticals of business.
How does the role fit in?
This position reports to the Director of Strategic Partnership and collaborates with the partnerships, product, and marketing teams. As part of structuring Avalanche Studios Group 's commercial strategy, you will work cross-divisionally with all of ASG 's self-published titles.
The Strategic Partnerships team is a growing part of the organization, which oversees key partner relations and strategy, commercial growth and excellence, licensing, outsourcing, market insights, and new business development.
What are the key responsibilities?

Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive Avalanche's commercial growth
Build and maintain strong relationships with industry contacts, including other developers, technology partners, new platforms, and other key players
Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategies for business growth around vectors such as regional expansion, new platforms, and tech partnerships
Create compelling business cases for new partnerships to demonstrate the size of the opportunity
Work with our product teams to establish a licensing strategy and integrate brands into our games
Negotiate contracts and agreements with partners
Stay ahead of industry trends and developments
Attend industry events and conferences to network and generate leads
Analyze sales data and market research in collaboration with our Market Insights team to identify growth opportunities
Use a project management tool to track project progress and maintain visibility

The role is based at our HQ in Stockholm, Sweden, alongside the strategic partnerships team in a hybrid office/home environment.
Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal are a must.
At least 5 years of experience in business development in the video games industry
Strong knowledge of the video games industry and current trends
Proven track record of building successful partnerships and closing deals
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and taking tasks from start to finish is needed
Willingness to travel as needed

Systemic Reaction's focus is open-world exploration and combat games. We've launched Generation Zero and Second Extinction, and Ravenbound.
