To the Digital Machining Business team - where we all share a passion for innovation and developing new solutions - we are looking for a Business Development Manager for Commercial Strategies. Someone who wants to be part of a new and creative area in our business: working in modern and exciting environment and interacting in a dynamic and international setting. This position is global flexible, however we do prefer if you are located in Sandviken, Sweden.

Key performance areas
As Business Development Manager, you are responsible for managing and developing key strategic activities for the go to market and our value offer, and you ensure successful introductions and implementations of new solutions, on the market and for our partners. Together with our Marketing and Sales organizations, you develop launch- and communication plans for our Digital Machining offer based on the understanding of business and customer needs, and you support and secure implementation of new sales activities focusing on productivity improvements and sales growth within our key markets. You also identify new areas in which our digital business can create added value for customers, as well as for Sandvik Coromant, and you follow-up on identified and initiated digital sales activities with the Digital Sales team.

Travel is included to some extent.

We are looking for someone with a degree in Business Management or a technical field, or who has gained equivalent experience through previous work. You have proven sales and business development skills from areas such as software, IT services or IoT, and you are experienced in managing value based sales processes and doing business in eco-system environments. A broad understanding of the operations, applications and production technology of a machining industry is a necessity for success in this position, and you have good financial awareness and the ability to apply the principles of machining economics. You are also experienced in project management. As we operate in an international setting, you have great communication skills in English, in both speaking and in writing.
