• To be primary point of contact for the customer, selling KN sea freight services (FCL and LCL), with a dedicated focus on Asia lanes
• To closely cooperate with Sea freight teams, Sales teams and Branch Managers
• To develop spot and regular opportunities with mainly new customers
• To prepare and conduct customer visits, calls, presentations, negotiations and contracts
• To input and timely update of sales activities utilizing CRM system
• To ensure proper transitioning of customer to operations in line with customer requirements and internal procedures
• To complete all required sales activities (calls, visits, leads, opportunities)
• To organize joint sales visits with local sales reps
• To visit main stake holders and potential customers in Asia on regular basis
• To focus on and develop new / existing customer targets
We have an open position in our Malmö location for a Business Development Manager - Asia. We are looking for a self-driven, dynamic and communicative personality who has the ambition to further develop and drive our processes and tools.
To be a successful Business Development Manager you need to be self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong drive to exceed targets. You need to have a sound business sense with an eye for opportunities and development in the logistics domain. Further you must have a successful track record in setting priorities and shaping processes.
Required knowledge and experience
• University degree in Business and/or Sales
• 2-5 years of international experience within similar role
• 2-5 years of experience from sea logistics and sales
• MS Office
• Presentable with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Presenting and Influencing skills
• Negotiation Skills
