Who you are

To be successful in this role you bring proven performance in project management with a strong track record and reputation as a team player, proven experience in meeting and interacting with various business partners, and working experience on a tactical and operational level. As a leader, you can influence through strong interdependent leadership and successfully lead projects or processes on all levels. You possess good coaching/conflict management skills with problem-solving experience.
You have knowledge in the following areas:
• excellent knowledge of project management processes including methods and tools
• excellent knowledge of Omnichannel Network-related IKEA processes, supply chain, warehousing operations, and service business leading to an excellent customer fulfillment
• excellent knowledge of the customer journey, ways to shop, and customer/coworker interaction in the buying process.
• interest in new technologies within the area of customer fulfillment and understanding of future customer & retail trends interacting with each other
• very good understanding of the co-worker needs, with a focus on work processes and ergonomics and required learning material
• change management and leading in the unknown/exploring
• knowledge of different leadership styles and needs as well as an appropriate use for different situations
• knowledge of how to identify and involve relevant stakeholders in a project, process, or question to make things happen
• knowledge about how internal and external financial impact the business of IKEA and an understanding of how to communicate this financial impact to different target groups; applying financial knowledge to achieve organizational goals and objectives
• good knowledge of relevant IT systems/solutions/tools, calculation methods, and analysis within the function
Moreover, you have a collaborative mindset building relationships across the organization and having influence and personal impact. You have an analytical capability to enable the translation of business and customer needs into development initiatives and the ability to act within the global framework to achieve goals. Finally, you identify needs and drive change within the organization acting in multi-cultural, interdependent, and matrix environments.
Your responsibilities
In this role, you will take direct responsibility to manage sub-project(s) for a dedicated scope interacting closely with a country project team and ensuring the successful delivery of this project according to the Develop New Solutions process (DNS).
You will safeguard in the global development team the process of documenting, analyzing, tracing, prioritizing and agreeing on business requirements (people, work methods& digital).
Moreover, you will also manage, control and communicate requirement changes to the relevant stakeholders as a continuous process throughout a project. You will manage cross-functional and cross-organizational requirements.
The preferred location is Malmö. Some traveling can be required.
About this work area
Layout & Automation is the key contributor in CFF towards Job #6 and has the assignment to create a portfolio of solutions to empower existing stores with fulfilment capabilities. This portfolio needs to cover the end-to-end process of online order fulfilment in a store from Goods Receiving, to storage, picking, and order preparation until outbound from stores in different solutions feasible to be used in high, medium, and high-cost countries. At the same time, we would like to grow an inspiration and experience portfolio going hand in hand with the fulfilment ambitions leading to the future omnichannel position of the store.
The Initiative is asked:
• to try out different technologies & working methods to see their potential and create a best-suited mix out of them for our needs.
• to match technologies & working methods with return on investments evaluations to see what fits for which scale
• develop a vision of store fulfilment leading the digital developments and impacting the majority of the stores which can bring significant gains
• grow a joint commercial portfolio containing experience, inspiration and fulfilment solutions in a market and situational adaptable way.
