hela Sverige You will be part of High Voltage Products Capacitors unit setting up a new business focusing on Power Quality within low and medium voltage. With a growing demand for renewables and digital solutions, ABBs offering within Power Quality and smart grid will play an important role and enabling the continuing industrial revolution (4IR). Your important mission will be to enable the unit and your employees to grow and develop with safe and steady leadership to a more sustainable future. You will be based in Västerås and/or Ludvika and focus on developing the market in Europe.
Your work tasks include supporting management in translating global strategies into local ones and in defining local implementation actions, as well as providing input to global strategy development. Good understanding of both, the local situation and global business strategies, gives you the ability to work in close collaboration with the management in identifying and prioritizing new business opportunities. In addition, you identify partnership opportunities and participate in the definition of partnership agreements or joint ventures.
To be suitable for this role, you are a strategic leader and a team player with an independent and solution oriented working style, as well as strong communicative and collaborative skills. You lead teams with a focus on operational planning and process development to create growth in the power quality business.
Moreover, your experience in the industry and competence in the technical field has made you structured and self-confident to handle both ups and downs, and manage any problem that may occur. Through customer-focuseness and market orientation you achieve commitment as well as results.
You will be part of High Voltage Products develop, manufacture and market high voltage products for HVAC and HVDC systems, such as surge arresters, breakers, instrument transformers, capacitors, cooling systems and cable accessories within the Power Grids division. The unit has 900 employees. Product areas include: HV Breakers, Surge Arresters, Instrument transformers, Capacitors and Cooling systems.
