Publiceringsdatum2014-12-15Dina arbetsuppgifterThe Climate-KIC flagship BTA (Building Technologies Accelerator) has commenced a search for a business developer who will report directly to the Building Technologies Accelerator Manager and work as an integral part of a collaborative team in the Nordic region and across Europe. Consequently, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a capability to achieve results while working across and within a complex, but exciting and dynamic organization. The business developer will be responsible for the commercialization of all emergent products within the Nordic node of the BTA. The node includes the HSB Living Lab which will be built on the Chalmers campus in the first half of 2015. The business development includes coordinating the core group of Chalmers researchers to: *map out diverse product lines of building technologies *lead the systematic assessment of the market readiness of the products and services *define the business model for each product and service *identify the appropriate route for market entry, whether through spin-offs, startups or partnerships with existing companies
Utbildning och erfarenhetYou must have several years of experience in business development, business coaching, marketing, intellectual property and development of market entry strategies. You must demonstrate knowledge of the built environment sector. You should preferably hold a Masters, or equivalent through experience in a relevant subject. Candidates demonstrating other qualities may be considered You must understand the business pipeline from innovative research knowledge to commercially viable products and services. You should be able to demonstrate a capability to work in a complex, highly changeable and challenging work environment. You are a dynamic and a creative individual who has the capacity to use every opportunity to build and promote the Climate-KIC BTA flagship. You are able to network within an international team and in a multidisciplinary context. You have an excellent command of English.
