Scania Purchasing buys products and services for all of Scania's units worldwide. Our global purchasing organisation is based in Södertälje, Sweden, and has around 700 employees around the world. The Purchasing department of Strategies & Processes are responsible for developing and improving Purchasing processes and methods in accordance with the company strategies and targets in order to increase efficiency and to ensure that purchasing is adapting to the changing future market demands. We are now looking for a new team member who wants to be a part of our journey.

Your duties

• Challenge and improve Scania Purchasing way of working by developing and implementing new processes, systems, tools and methods
• Provide knowledge and support to the organisation by running, maintaining and improving established systems, tools and processes
• Manage and participate in Ad-hoc projects

Your profile
We are looking for a positive and driven person who are service minded, eager to solve problems and have a passion for improving how things can be done.

You are

• Service minded and strives to understand and fulfil customer needs
• Creative and innovative and eager to find improvements
• Communicative and good in maintaining continuous, open and consistent communication with others
• Adaptable and perform effectively under changing or unclear conditions
• Team oriented and proactively assist and involve others

You have

• Academic degree (probably within Engineering or Finance)
• Experience from Purchasing or Business Development within other function/area
• Very good English skills, fluent in both spoken and written
• Good Swedish understanding
