hela Sverige Do you have several years of experience within Business Controlling and a burning interest for IT? Then this might be the position for you! We are now looking for a Business Controller to our global client within the automotive industry.
About the assignment
We are searching for an experienced and senior business controller to be part of the team managing Infrastructure and Onsite Services Business Control. The team consists of appr 10 Business Controllers, located primarily in Europe and India, and are performing overall business control activities including follow-up, planning and estimates of cost and deliveries connected to IT infrastructure and End User services. Being a business controller in this team, you will closely interact with and provide financial advice/support to management and leaders in the infrastructure area of responsibility, also including Partner and License Finance control management. Aside of being a true co-driver to business you will also be part of contributing to enabling the digital transformation journey.
Main activities and responsibilities:
• Business controlling of Digital & IT Infrastructure & Onsite Services
• Perform proactive controlling and drive cost awareness to achieve short- and long-term financial targets
• Drive Business Control activities related to areas of the Digital & IT Infrastructure and Onsite Services function
• Manage financial interactions with Group Digital & IT stakeholders
• Secure financial follow up with a transparent structure, excellent visualization and with high quality
• Support decision-making in providing relevant and thorough financial analysis and insights
• Lead planning and estimate process within served areas and secure target fulfillment
• With a high degree of pro-activity, support in securing that financial targets/plans are met
• Contribute to monitoring cost efficiency initiatives
Who are you?
You have several years of proven experience as a business controller. You will actively cooperate with management and various stakeholders and navigate with ease in a multi-cultural environment. You have a strategic and long-term mind set thinking in everything you do. You have excellent skills in telling a story based on financial information in a way that is understood and actionable for management. You can with ease shift between having good insights in financial statistics to out-side-in perspective.
As a business controller, you are highly involved in creating an efficient and trustful day-to-day operation.
To be successful in your role you need to have following experience/capabilities:
• Experience in Business controlling
• Experience in business and/or management team interaction
• Strong personal drive and desire to get the job done
• Strategic thinking with a creative mind
• Excellent visualization, communication & presentations skills
• Ability to establish and maintain good relations
• Strong logic and analytical skills
• Have a positive attitude and like to have fun at work
• Flexible and pragmatic to act in a changing environment during transformation
• Digital literacy - finding it easy to adapt to digital tools and systems. Engaged in driving automation using these kinds of tools.
• Fluency in business English, spoken and written
• University/Master 's Degree or equivalent in a relevant area
• IT proficiency - good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Power Point. Power BI experience and SAP knowledge are a strong merit
