The local financial department (GE) supports the local production organization and the central finance functions within the business area Sandvik Machining Solutions (SMS), with information, reports and analysis. GE is now looking for a Business Controller for Production, ready for new challenges in working life. Key performance areas
As a member of the recently reformed Gimo Inserts Management team, you will be expected to build financial awareness, improve financial efficiency and work with other general management issues related to cost.
As the Business Controller you will coach and guide production managers striving to reach the best possible results in operational efficiency. You are able to work with colleagues at all levels and you are the communication bridge between production, Finance in Gimo and central Finance teams within SMS. You will be part of a network of business controllers in similar roles within the global inserts organization. You will also work with reporting and analyzing financial information and compiling budgets, forecasts and book closings. Working with improving different financial processes will also be one of your tasks.
You will be a part of the financial department and report to the financial manager.
Your profile
We are looking for a strong-willed individual who takes the initiative to develop your own and the team's way of working. You have a relevant university education and at least three years of experience in controller positions within a manufacturing business. Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and verbal, are prerequisite. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential and knowledge of the business system SAP is also desired.
As a person you are analytical, with a very good ability to see and explain variations in results, identify improvements and focus your time for the greatest impact. You also have a structured way of working and an ability to stay motivated in a pressurized environment. As a new member of a new management team you will need to work closely with your colleagues, build a strong working relationship and trust. You enjoy both working independently and in teams, together with your colleagues.
