hela Sverige Sandvik Hard Materials manufactures a wide variety of products in cemented carbide, ranging from advanced industrial tools and customer-specific components for the engineering industry, to high volume blanks for tools and hot rolls for the steel industry.
The central Business Controller Group within Sandvik Hard Materials is responsible for coordinating all business control activities within the Product area as well as follow-up and control of all business units and other units within Hard Material. We have extensive contacts with Sandviks central units in Sandviken and with Hard Materials units all over the world. One of our Business Controllers will now move to a new position within Sandvik Hard Materials and we are looking for his replacement.
Key performance areas
The responsibilities of the role include:
• Financial control functions including product area sales and result consolidation, reporting and rolling forecasting.
• Business control functions such as follow-up of financial key performance indicators, benchmarking, analysis and comments.
• Economical analysis and investigations within product- and customer profitability, cost analysis, accounting and valuation issues.
• Initiate and follow-up activities for improved capital efficiency within manufacturing and sales units.
• Evaluate and follow-up of investments.
• Participate in common financial projects within Tooling and Sandvik such as financial steering and reporting.
The employment includes traveling and international contacts.

Your profile
To succeed in this role, we believe you have a university degree in finance or accounting, coupled with 3-5 years experience within business control or financial control and accounting. It is vital that you have experience from working with integrated computer business systems and, most likely, you are proficient with personal computers and related software.
As a person, you possess solid analytical, creative and communication skills. Moreover, you are able to work across cultures and you show good ability to perform in a team-oriented and international environment. Excellent knowledge of English is required, both written and oral.
