We require versatile talents and are now recruiting a Business Controller to the Nordic Finance team, based in Stockholm.
Are you an ambitious and proactive Junior Business Controller? Then this is an opportunity for you to join Viacom's Nordic Finance team. The Financial Planning and Analysis team in Stockholm is primarily responsible for the financial follow-up and planning of the business in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland. This role will be a part of a team of two financial analysts, responsible for budgets, estimates and analysis of the Nordic business. You will be reporting to VP Finance and Operations Nordics.
Responsibilities:
• Play an active part in the budget and quarterly estimate process.
• Analyze and report month end results.
• Advice and support budget owners with analysis and financial information.
• Have a continuous dialogue with our Shared Service Centers to ensure quality of accounting.
• Support and educate the Nordic employees in our purchasing systems and processes, also provide guidance in different finance and accounting related issues.
Requirements:
• Academic degree in Economics and/or Business Administration.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent accounting knowledge, genuine interest for the business and what's behind the numbers.
• Proactive, driven and ability to think outside the box.
• Service minded and able to explain Finance to non-Finance people.
• Good communication and social skills.
• Good IT and Excel skills.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
