THE ROLE
As our Business Controller, you will be working in a small dynamic team and report to the CFO. You will be working cross-functionally between all the departments and support the project managers and management team by analysing the firms' different projects and prospects financial drivers and business cases. The role is heavily commercially focused and will be exposed to the main stakeholders from the PMO and Business Development functions and our international Joint-Venture partners.
The role will be dynamic in nature and is likely to evolve with time, Corporate Group Controlling tasks, Compliance and Control, as well as Process Development topics are likely to be part of the role as well, as we are in the process of developing and setting up the finance function and structures for future growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ARE
• Analysing and forecasting project costs and cash flow
• Contributing with financial and qualitative analysis for project and prospect business cases
• Support with analysing P&L and BS of the different subsidiaries and joint-venture companies
• Business partnering and management reporting
• Part of the monthly and quarterly book-closing process, which will lead to the final product of quarterly and annual reports to the stock market
• Ad hoc tasks spanning from accounting and compliance to business analysis
YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
• A university degree in Business Administration
• 3+ years' experience from different roles in the finance function
• Experience of working with international stakeholders
• An interest to learn and someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment with personal responsibility
IT'S NICE IF YOU HAVE
• Start-up and scale-up experience
• Project Controlling experience
• Experience from the energy industry
• M&A and/or financial modelling and valuation experience
• Fluency in Swedish
