We are looking for a business controller to join our small but talented business controlling team and help us take Matsmart - Motatos to the next level! In this role your primary responsibility will be supporting the commercial team in analysing and improving our overall business performance. You will operate in a dynamic international environment with partners across all our markets, working especially closely with the Chief Commercial Officer, and the country managers.
What you'll do
• Support country teams by analyzing sales, campaign and promotion performance as well as working with more complex subjects, such as, what is driving profitable customer behavior
• Develop and follow up on new KPIs and monitor and develop recommendations for our assortment mix to help create the perfect assortment blueprint for each market
• Be an important business partner to a multitude of our teams
• Establish reporting and processes for cost monitoring in Marketing, Customer Care, Returns and Compensation
• Transfer and constantly improve manual reports into automated BI reports and be the counterpart to our data team to translate the commercial agenda to the data team
• Support our budget and forecast updates
• Support achieving high forecast accuracy, both for sales and logistics
• Help preparing monthly management and board reports, giving the storyline to the monthly development
Our humble expectations
We would love if you have
• A bachelor degree in finance, accounting or economics
• 3-4 years of experience from working as a business controller, preferably within e-commerce
• A passion for numbers and data analysis
• Advanced excel skills
• A true team player
• Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English
