Business Controller - R&D projects & SCORE Key User position description
In this position you will support the GBT organization and particularly product project with all financial aspects and by this secure that VBC invests money in most efficient way. As SCORE Key User you secure correct system setup and usage to collect important and relevant information for project cost control and GBT efficiency follow-up. Also you contribute to the fulfilment of VBC and GBT operative vision and targets and develop solutions to improve business performance.
Main activities and responsibilities:
Calculate and control project cost and product cost together with project managers
Control product project profitability
Develop and improve financial processes
Provide Business control expertise through participation in project management meetings
Prepare project related materials to decision bodies
Secure proper setup of SCORE parameters and develop the way of working together with the system users
Active participation and coordination of GBT investment plan and actual spending follow-up
Is this you?
You have recently finalized your Master/Bachelor of Finance or equivalent in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science. Business controlling and accounting is something you enjoy. To be successful in this position you need to have the ability to communicate with all stakeholders in multi-cultural environment. You enjoy working independently as well as having strong analytical skills, creativity and integrity. In our day to day we mainly utilize English, therefore you must be fluent English (writing & speaking). Knowledge of lean principles is considered a merit.
