We are looking for a Business Controller to our team at Lindex head office in Gothenburg,
You will have a group perspective of Lindex business involving HQ departments, production offices and subsidiaries. You are responsible for, together with the team, analysing and reporting sales and profit and proposing actions regarding the business in general or within a specific area. In this role you are part of a small team of Business Controllers that are also superusers in systems of great importance for the follow-up of the business.
Main responsibilities:
Provide information and basic data for decision-making concerning the ongoing business results as well as for new developing areas. Give advice. Produce decision and reporting material for the Lindex board Budgeting, forecast and reporting on a group level. Maintenance of system for result figures, budgeting and forecast Partake in the ongoing implementation of a new Corporate Performance Management system Responsible for identifying improvement areas within the business, sales improvement or cost reduction Ensure financial & business knowledge within the organization, primary at the head office. Governance of specific common processes Lindex group, i.e. improvements of reports
To succeed in this role you need to have a strong drive and high flexibility in order to manage the many ad hoc assignments that are handled. A good ability to make analysis and benchmarks is also required. Since the role contains many contacts with different stakeholders there is a need for good organizational and structural skills.
Qualifications:
Higher studies of business and finance are required (Economics or business School graduate) Computer skills: Very good knowledge in both excel and power point Language skills: English in speech and writing Financial reporting skills: Internal and external Minimum 3 - 5 years of relevant working experience
