About the job
inRiver is seeking an experienced, self-motivated and goal-oriented Business Consultant to join our European Expert services team, based in Malmö Sweden. As a Business Consultant you will engage directly with our growing list of strategic partners and customers.
In this role, you will need to be able to design and build efficient data models to enhance and support our customer's PIM business processes. You are driven and have the skills to know when and how to ask the right business questions as support to our partners in their inRiver PIM implementation projects. It is important to be able to set boundaries and have the ability to communicate your expert knowledge in inRiver's Product Information Management (PIM) solution.
It is required that you have a good understanding of at least one of the retail, distribution or manufacturing industries. In addition, it is preferable if you have sufficient experience in the field of eCommerce and PIM in a Business Consultant role. inRiver has a strong and growing partner eco-system. As a Business Consultant you will educate our partners and customers as well as run the inRiver partner certification trainings.
Key Criteria
Below is a summary of the responsibilities, requirements and skillsets we require in hiring for this role:
Responsibilities
• Be a competence coach for new customers
• Plan and run PIM projects together with implementation partners
• Define and deliver business solutions to customers / partner with expertise
• Develop each customer's and partner's knowledge of inRiver's PIM solution
• Lead and organize seminars and presentations
• Conduct product & solution training and certifications for partners and customers
• Support partners and our sales team in estimating and quoting solution implementation work
• Advise partners and customers regarding how to implement and refine the inRiver solution
Requirements
3+ years' experience as project manager, business consultant or similar
• Data modeling & process design experience
• Good knowledge about information integration and information logistics
• Experience presenting to a senior audience
• Experience from key-roles in enterprise systems implementation projects
It will be considered an additional qualification if you also have:
• Experience working with enterprise software including eCommerce & PIM solutions
• Experience from the the PIM domain
• Knowledge about DAM related systems and services
