Job description:
Based in Stockholm or in Warsaw, you will act as a Business Consultant. In this role, you will analyze telecom operator markets, identify challenges and opportunities for Huawei’s customers, study new technologies and their business impact, and support our customers in their efforts to improve competitiveness using Huawei solutions. You will have the following responsibilities:
• Participate in ongoing business consulting projects carried out for our operator customers in the Central European & Nordic region
• Project scope may cover aspects such as market analysis, business cases, strategic options and recommendations, and providing the link to suitable Huawei solutions
• Main tasks will include market research, analysis of customer problems, identification of solutions, dialogues with Huawei customers and other stakeholders, and production of project deliverables
• Customers may be fixed-line or mobile operators based in the Nordic countries or in Central Europe.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking a candidate with the following qualifications:
• 5 – 10 years of experience in the telecoms business; ideally from consulting assignments with telecom operators, or from work for telecom operators or vendors
• Solid understanding of fixed and mobile network infrastructure, combined with a thorough business acumen in areas such as telecoms and internet services
• Track record of deep research in well-specified areas of the telecoms industry, covering market analysis, operator challenges or technology trends, for instance
• Proven ability to skilfully use methodologies and processes for research and forecasting
• Excellent skills in authoring professional documents and presentations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Full professional proficiency in English; good command of a Scandinavian or Central/Eastern European language
• Willingness to take challenges
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment; a certain understanding of Chinese culture is advantageous
• Full ability to travel in the Nordic region and in Central Europe (projects may involve stays abroad).
Organization:
Based in Kista (Sweden) or in Warsaw (Poland), you will be part of Huawei’s CEE & Nordic regional
marketing team.
