Role description
At Diagnostic Engineering we have the responsibility to develop and deliver system support needed within the Volvo Group aftermarket. We are now looking for a Business Architect to strengthen our team in Gothenburg.
You will work with our current solutions as well as new ones adapting to the future. We can offer you the opportunity to be involved from the start of a business need for the Volvo Group diagnostic tool, right through the process of realizing the scope and deliveries. You will be the link between stakeholders and IT solution providers, securing the best diagnostic solutions for the Volvo Group.
You will belong to a global organization, working in an agile way with colleagues who share your passion for aftermarket. If you enjoy creating networks you will have a great opportunity to do so in this role as you will work with other parts of the Volvo Group, such as R&D, IT and the brands. To really enjoy this position we think that you have:
A holistic view of the enterprise, its business capabilities, processes, information model and supporting IT portfolio
A combined understanding of business needs and IT solutions
Documentation and communication skills, related to architectural assumptions, requirements and designs to both technical and non-technical audience
Good knowledge about aftermarket is a merit as well as dealer/workshop knowledge
Qualifications:
Master degree in engineering, Computer science or similar
Experience from software engineering and agile development
Extensive experience of modeling: e.g. business modeling, process modeling, data modeling knowledge in Domain Driven Design
Practical experiences in balancing process and solution perspectives to solve architecture specific concerns
Ability to take the leading role in setting up tactical plans and drive the execution
Fluent English, spoken and written communication skills
