Volvo Car Group Facility Management's (FM) mission is to proactively enable a global disturbance free operation and deliver an attractive workplace throughout the company. FM have the overall responsibility for the delivery of Facility Management services within Volvo Car Group. FM incorporate management of user related services such as cleaning, catering and guarding and property related services such as real estate engineering and operations. FM is also responsible for a number of corporate functions and standards such as Corporate Security, Corporate Resources Waste Management, Interior Guidelines and Technical Building Requirements. The team consists of around 80 employees and a large number of bought services. We currently operate in Sweden and Belgium.
The group Facility Management Systems & Applications have a wide scope of tasks and the overall responsibility for all systems and applications within FM. It is our responsibility to manage, improve and develop these systems and applications to meet the needs of a continuously evolving technical future. We are the interface between the operational organisation and IT. The group consist of four people and we have a global responsibility for our area.
As Business Application & System Manager you have the main responsibility for Business Application Management of your own part of our applications and systems. You will work with identifying areas of improvements and lead development needs including funding requests related to the applications and the processes it supports. You work on a global level and with a wide network within Volvo Car Group, meeting people from all regions.
Main responsibilities
• Express service level requirements towards IT, how and when to follow up
• Secure that acceptance tests are performed on new or changed applications/systems
• Performs or secures user training and compilation of user requirements
• Administration of vital application information/data
• Secure functionality of Facility management IT-applications & systems
• Support local Volvo Car sites
Ensure business requirements are met in IT applications & systems development
Secure that FM applications & systems adheres to IT Security requirements
Required qualifications
• Experience from Business Application Management (IT), preferably in connection with Facility Management or Security
• At least 3 years' experience from work in a IT department or similar
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Experienced in business requirement and specification development
• Knowledge of how applications interferes with Facility management processes
• Driver's license B
• Financial experience, such as a budget planning is meritorious
