Due to our continued rapid growth, the global analytics team have requirements for talented Business Analysts who can help us drive our continued expansion.
Business Analyst Credit Risk
As a Business Analyst for the global analytics team you will be a part of a department that impacts the future of Klarna through working with exposures across the Nordics, continental Europe, UK and US. In this complex role you will work with new markets, products and segments together with our regional analytic teams. The role requires the best talent as you will be working alongside people setting new standards for Credit Risk management globally.
What would you do?
You will develop and implement credit and underwriting policies, including rules for credit eligible populations, model approval cut-offs, initial line assignment strategies, and line increase/decrease strategies. You will be involved in driving global projects and identifying strengths and weaknesses in our existing credit strategies. You are also expected to partner with statistics teams, as well as the engineering- and product departments in order to add insight and drive the development of the way Klarna makes decisions and draw conclusions on transactions and customers. You will be working closely to the management team in a start-up environment and conduct analysis that will influence strategic direction of the business.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a candidate with a strong academic record and a university degree in math, engineering, stats, physics, economics, business or a similar analytical/quantitative field. We expect you to have at least one year of relevant professional experience from e.g. management consulting, corporate finance or from an analytical role within a similar industry. Furthermore, if you have experience from working in excel and SQL, and have an understanding of financial modelling, it is a plus. As a person you enjoy working in a highly analytical and rapidly changing environment. You are accustomed to working towards, and exceeding, set goals and you are passionate about taking on new challenges. While being a high-performing individual it is also important that you are a collaborative and prestigeless team player.
