Trelleborg Engineered Systems is currently looking for a Business Analyst. The role will be instrumental in the process of further developing the business control of the business area. Reporting to the Business Area Controller the analyst will develop all types of reporting and analysis tools both for present and future business. The Business Area is a truly global organization with clearly defined ownership regarding results, business development and processes. The business area has approximately 6800 employees and a turnover of 1100 MEUR organized in five relatively independent and different business units. The job is located in Trelleborg and will include occasional travel.
Main responsibilities and tasks will include:
• Develop and perform all types of financial analysis with the objective to improve knowledge and quality for decision making within the business area.
• Participate in the preparation of monthly management reports for the business area.
• Drive the development of key metrics and steering models for the organization
• Take active part in the commercial activities and provide insightful analysis
• Participate in securing the internal control environment and ensure alignment with the group standards and principles
• Take active part in the analysis around investments and acquisitions/divestments
Candidate profile
You possess a proven track record of business control in a complex industrial environmentwithin an international company. You have a university degree in business administration and economics with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience. You are used to work independently in a decentralized organization. You have the ability and experience for usage of relevant IT-tools. You are fluent in both oral and written English. Proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
You are a structured individual with a highly analytical capacity, ambitious with a powerful self-drive and you have the ability to see the big picture. You are a communicative person with good ability to build relationships. You are energetic and possess the ability to arouse enthusiasm. You have a high sense of integrity and a sound judgement.
