hela Sverige Nasdaq Technology is now looking for a Business Analyst (post trade) to join at the Stockholm office. You will sit in the renovated former Ford assembly plant in Frihamnen, in our spacious and open plan factory-style campus, which houses 650 of Nasdaq's IT talent across many departments including engineering, architecture, development and testers.
Nasdaq is the world's largest exchange solution company providing top of the line trading and clearing technology with more than 3,500 listed companies. You will primarily work with post trade domain.
As a business analyst you will function as the interface between the business stakeholders and the IT organization by translating business requirements into detailed system requirements. As an expert within the field you will give qualified advice and suggest alternatives to our clients. You will also ensure that the team of developers and testers has a clear understanding of the requirements. At Nasdaq, you will work with highly motivated and skilled colleagues in an international and fast paced environment.
General responsibilities:
* Design solutions for clients
* Elicit detailed business and system requirements from business owners and stakeholders
* Write and produce detailed functional specifications for others
* Handle user queries regarding system functionality
* Write input to operational and user documentation
* Assist team in thinking of process re-design and improvements which would improve efficiency
* Identify industry change and capture feedback from clients to further provide input into
* Product Development initiatives internally
* Provide input into project schedule, risks, scope of work and budget
* Prepare, lead and facilitate customer workshops/presentations
Education, Professional accomplishments, and Certifications:
You will need to have at least 5 - 7 years working experience as business analyst preferable in the Financial, FinTech industry. Moreover, we expect that you would have experience from post trade sector.
To suit this position you need to have highly developed social competence and strong communication skills. You must be a team player and quality focused. We anticipate that you are persistent in solving complex problems, have an analytical and result-oriented approach, and can easily adapt between the business and the technology sides.
You will need to be "hands on" in your approach and enjoy a fast pace working environment. Furthermore, you will be committed and customer focused and your English and Swedish language skills (both written and spoken) will be fluent.
