The department of Business Development is located in Stockholm and Berlin and is responsible for business development, strategy, M&A, investment planning and competitor intelligence for one of Vattenfalls's largest business area - Distribution. You will join the team and work towards securing the future growth of distribution and creating new business opportunities. Some examples of your tasks will be:
• Creating growth options for distribution in e.g. M&A transactions or creating new business opportunities
• Responsible for financial business cases and competitor intelligence
• Preparing strategy and assisting in Vattenfall's investment planning
The internship are fully paid and starts March/April 2016 with a duration of 12 months.
Your Profile
We see that you have a university degree in Business Administration, Finance or Industrial Economics. You are used to an international environment and you understand cultural differences. Thinking outside the box, developing new ideas and being able to capture new values in the energy transformation - from either regulated or non-regulated assets will be required. You are able to develop business cases and prepare financial models to support business development initiatives. Experiences in various phases of business development, from ideas and concepts until execution are of high value for this position.
As a person you have an analytical mind-set and a high sense of quality in our daily work. You are able to act in an innovative, creative and solution-oriented way. Moreover you easily adapt to changing conditions and you are flexible in your way of working. Working under pressure in order to meet deadlines is no problem for you and you approach work with an open mindset and in a cooperative way. You have a high proficiency in MS Office, especially advanced Excel skills is preferred. Fluency in our corporate language English is a prerequisite.
Some traveling to may be required, primarily to Berlin.
