hela Sverige As the next step in the development of Brännland Cider we are now hiring a full time cider manager to manage our growing production of premium artisanal ciders. We are looking for an experienced cidery manager with specific knowledge and background in ice wine and ice cider production. The work encompasses all the tasks that are crucial to cider production. Planning and executing on all key stages of production; crushing and pressing apples, ice cider extraction, fermentations (setting, monitoring and stopping), filtering, bottling (both still and carbonated ciders) cleaning and upkeep of tanks and machinery at necessary intervalls.
Hiring a full time cidery manager is the final step in building what we regard as one of the best teams for artisanal cider production in the world and we're looking for an individual who wants to be a part of of our journey and growth forward. We expect you to stay with us for a minimum of three years.

You are someone with an international background and your CV includes specific work with producing ice cider or ice wine and possibly a degree or completed apprenticeship within wine and/or cider production. You have solid experience with maintaining production hygiene by protocol to a very high standard and operating the machinery that comes with cider production. Machinery includes bottling machines, filters, pressing line and cleaning equipment. You're detail oriented and open to the constant challenges and changes encountered on a daily basis in wine and cider production. You have experience with working an industrial forklift. You have good social skills and communicate well in english, verbally and in writing. If you've previously worked with and have experience of scaling up cider production that is a plus.
Brännland Cider, located 650 km north of Stockholm outside the college town of Umeå, is one of the worlds leading producers of ice cider.
Our cidery is located 26 km west of Umeå in the north of Sweden and is similar to most other small wineries and cideries in Europe. As an experienced cidery manager you will recognise and be able to operate most of our equipment and machinery. We're a small team out of which you make up a 3rd of the team. This means we work closely and help out when necessary with whatever tasks might be at hand.
Publiceringsdatum2017-05-04ErsättningPosition includes full insurance coverage as well as pension fund based on salary. Brännland Cider will provide the formal training and certificate necessary according to Swedish law to operate a forklift.
